1858 manufacturers

I've been wanting to get into the cap n' ball world for a while and finally decided on a Rem. 1858. Then the fall Cabela's catalogue came out and I thought, "Wow what a deal." Unfortunately the catalogue does not mention a manufacturer and I have been told that the best reproduction is the Uberti. Does anyone know Cabela's manufacturer? (Flipietta maybe?)How does their model compare to the Uberti? Any information would be appreciated.
