I have recently inherited a .36 calibe muzzleloading rifle,I am trying to determine the make of this rifle,It strongly resembles a Hawkin rifle, in both design and furniture. The lock plate is plain with no etching or design, the barrel is browned not blued,,it has double set triggers.
There is no name on the rifle, however the serial number is below 10000.
The furniture is all brass.
If anyone has an idea as to the maker of this rifle, your help would be most appreciated.
please email me with any questions or comments.
