Approx. powder charge for .50cal. rifle is 50 to 75 grains FFFg or 60 to 90 grains FFg for 240gr sabot bullet.
Good starting charge is 50 to 60 grs. FFFg powder for my .50cal T/C SCOUT RIFLE.
Universal size black powder grains:
(USA,GERMAN, FRENCH, SWISS)
FFFg .015" to .031"
FFg .025" to .047"
