We have a shortage of blackpowder rifle powder in our area in RSA. We however have handgun powder in blackpowder. I have a 50 cal Hawken rifle, with sabots and 44 cal. bullets (240 gr. and 265gr.) What would the recommnded starting load be.
Unfortunately make of powder unknown.
