I have never heard of that. Where are you finding these rifles? I ask because of todays marketing ploy's. I know some makers sell "2nd's",, a good firearm with some small stock or barrel stratch /mar or flaw,,,but I haven't seen a major manufactuer offer "re-conditioned" rifles. The Ad mite say "re-conditioned rifles" MADE BY Lyman. and that would be different than "re-conditioned" rifles FROM Lyman..,see my point? I could re-condition a gun made by anybody and offer it for sale
