Inside of breech plug and nipple/flash channel. Lyman Great Plains Hunter .50 Percussion.
Local Gun Shop guy said I could use a paper clip for a nipple pick? What about further down the (curved) channel?
Lyman's Owner's Manual says to use a .35 cal. jag to clean the inside of the breech plug? Another source online sells a rounded-blade scraper. Maybe a patch stuck on a brass brush?
