Posted by NPW on 9/3/2003, 10:03 pm [As Direwolf grabs Meg by the sides of her head as she rises and lands headbutt after headbutt into her, Keith Edwards is sent head-first into the steel mesh by Louie's high kneeblock. Pulling up Flare, Louie looks to send him into the cage on the far side with an Irish whip - but Flare reverses, sending Louie into the cage face-first! As "The Hardcore Prof" stumbles back out and turns around, Flare nails a calf kick into his face, getting a large amount of air as he does. With Louie out on his back, Flare goes to upright the ladder... and Keith Edwards rises from the side, flashing his foot out and connecting with a superkick into the side of Flare's head! Flare stumbles, hitting the mat, and Edwards dives on top of him, quickly strapping him into an STF submission hold!] MASTERS : An STF applied expertly - and quickly! - by Keith Edwards! You can't win that way, though, as you've got to escape this steel structure to be declared the winner! SUGAR : Edwards is laying the hurt on Flare just to show him he can, Masters - this kid Flare might be quick, but Edwards isn't looking to be denied by some new punk. Instead, he'll soom be denied by Marty Sugar! [As Flare is caught in the STF, Edwards is soon breaking it - as a rising Louie Z drops a leg drop over Flare's neck when he was looking for Edwards. It's all good, of course... but over in "Cage B", Direwolf has been pummeling Megaera with his ferocious headbutts. Flinging her into the ropes, Direwolf never gets to see her return, as TJ Killingbeck rises out of the corner and hits the ropes closest to Direwolf, springing off to nail him with a flying lariat! With Direwolf and Killingbeck hitting the mat, the now-groggy Megaera comes off her ropes... but finds the presence of mind to drop a spinning leg wheel on top of "The Alpha Male"! Finding her feet, Megaera kicks the face of TJ Killingbeck and sets up the ladder once more, climbing to the top... but nearing it, she stops, and targets TJ on the mat over her shoulder! Stepping off and springing backwards, Megaera executes a moonsault off the ladder - and right over Killingbeck's torso! Leaping up right away, she turns to find Direwolf charging... and is soon dropped with a Clothesline From Hell!] SUGAR : CLOTHESLINE FROM SCRANTON! MASTERS : Err, that's "Hell". CROWLEY : Same thing, isn't it?? - Meg's holding more than her own, and while her constitution's suspect over longer matches, I think TJ's legendary endurance may have been tested a little too much earlier against Norman. He's not lookin' as spritely as normal in there right now, Bobbo! MASTERS : He's had a WPN Extreme title defense earlier, which he came out on the short end of! And Direwolf's power is unchallenged in there, as he press-slams Megaera into the cage now! [Indeed he does. Hoisting her up, Direwolf sends Megaera into the steel mesh on one side, sending her down in a heap and stomping on her with his large boots. Over in the "Cage A", however, Edwards and Z have been duking it out, the close-fist punches - legal in NPW, of course - of Edwards driving Z back to a corner. Setting him up on the top turnbuckle, Edwards drives forearms into the back of his neck as he steps to the second... and hooks Louie's arms back, taking him off the top buckle with a double underhook suplex! Climbing to his feet, however, Edwards notes Flare rising on the far side... and charges across the ring, looking for a clothesline. Flare stops him cold, however, right out of the blue - as his arms wrap around Edwards, taking him over with a belly-to-belly suplex over the top! Edwards lands in a heap against the ropes, and Flare finds his feet once more. With both men down, Flare sets up the ladder... and heads up underneath the hole! Scrambling up as fast as his weariness allows, Flare reaches the top... and pulls himself through to the second floor!] MASTERS : And it's Flare - the Big West Wrestling Alliance Silver Dollar champion - who's made it to the second floor before ANYONE! All he's got to do is set up that ladder and open the trap door above! CROWLEY : Here comes the ALPHA MALE! [With Megaera down after the massive shot from Direwolf, and Killingbeck crawling to the ropes slowly after her moonsault, Direwolf positions the ladder, noting Flare above on the second floor doing the same. Climbing up the ladder - stomping up it, really - Direwolf makes it to the top as Flare looks to the trap door above. With the fans screaming, Direwolf pops his torso inside, pressing himself up.... and Killingbeck, rising and lunging at the ladder, grabs his BOOT! As Direwolf tries to kick TJ off, TJ finds a position on the ladder, stepping up to grab Direwolf's legs with his arms. As Flare positions the ladder properly and looks to climb, though, Megaera finds her feet... and stumbles towards the ladder. Grabbing TJ's belt on his camouflage pants, she breathes hard three or four times, steeling herself up -- and climbs furiously OVER Killingbeck up the ladder! Stepping on his back, shoulder, and finally head, Megaera climbs over Direwolf's back as well - and as TJ pulls the Wolf down three feet to the middle of the ladder, Megaera escapes his grasping mitts - to make it to the second floor as well!] MASTERS : HERE WE GO! FLARE AND MEGAERA ON THE SECOND FLOOR - AND THEY'VE GOT NO LOVE FOR EACH OTHER! [Flare, drying to open the deadbolt above, looks down as Meg dives at the ladder - and knocks it and Flare over! Scrambling on top of him, Megaera claws at his face, landing palm strikes and nerve chops into his nose and neck. Meanwhile, the trap doors below them remain open - and Keith Edwards, moving in desperation to his feet, scrambles up the ladder with Louie Z right behind him! The impact from the suplex earlier has caused Louie to slow a little, and so Edwards reaches the second floor first, seeing Megaera on top of Flare. Rushing to upright the ladder, Edwards is followed by Louie, who blindsides him with a shot from behind that sends both men down onto the unforgiving cage floor. Direwolf, in the meantime, has turned on the ladder to find Killingbeck in front of him. Taking a handful of his hair, Direwolf pulls TJ up the ladder in front of him...] PHOOOOSSSSSSSSHHHHH! MASTERS : OH GOOD GAWD - it's the "GREEN MIST!" TJ Killingbeck just blew that evil green mist into Direwolf's eyes! CROWLEY : LEAVE IT TO AN UNTOUCHABLE TO KEEP JAPANESE WRESTLING TRADITION ALIVE, BOBBO!

MASTERS : And as Louie Z gets up behind Keith Edwards and sends a rushing, high-flying knee into his back, Megaera has taken Killingbeck down! Both trap doors are open already above, but both ladders are down! And now Direwolf, turning his massive frame on Megaera, and levelling her with a headbutt as she rises - and continuing the assault!
