Posted by NPW on 9/3/2003, 9:53 pm CROWLEY: Told ya she'd be pissed. [Ariel scampers out of the ring and rejoins her position at the announce table as Megaera picks up the ladder again, and again slams it down hard over Flare's back. Flare attempts to get to his feet, but Megaera puts him back down with a swift kick across the face as he's on his hands and knees. Shaki looks confused in the ring as he shrugs and begins pacing with his hands on his hips. Dan Bash yells down the aisle to Megaera to come to the ring, and after another kick to Flare's ribs, she does just that.] MASTERS: What a brutal kick from Megaera! Flare's nose may be broken just that quickly! She should be disqualified! CROWLEY: How? Technically, the match hasn't even begun yet. Hell, she could've came out and run him over with a car. That'd probably make things a little easier on her. MASTERS: Well, at least Megaera is on her way to the ring now. I hope that flaring tempers doesn't take away from what should be a great contest. CROWLEY: What the hell are you talking about? That's what NPW is all about! This is sports entertainment, Bob. MASTERS: No Ken, it's wrestling. CROWLEY: Ha, that's what you like to think. Tell him, Air, what's the 'Dub all about these days? MACE: I....uhh....I have no comment.......oh wait, I have one.......I like cookies. MASTERS: ....... CROWLEY: ........ [Megaera picks up the pace on her way to the ring. She unhooks the Television title from around her waist and lets it hit the ground before running to the ring and sliding under the bottom rope. She quickly makes her way to her feet and charges at Shaki with a clothesline, but he ducks it and heads into the ropes. Upon bouncing back, Shaki connects with Megaera's temple with a spinning heel kick.] MASTERS: A brutal shot there! Shirakawa is an accomplished martial artist, those kicks will definitely take their toll here. [Dan Bash quickly steps in front of Shirakawa, reminding him that the match still hasn't officially started. Shaki throws his hands up in exasperation and turns away from Bash......where he is met with a flying cross body from Flare from the top rope! Flare has found his way to the ring, and he has executed a beautiful cross body on Shaki. Flare makes the cover as Bash attempts to gather his wits. He calls for the opening bell and immediately drops to make the count.] ONE..... KICK OUT! [Shirakawa kicks out quickly and quickly jumps to his feet. Flare also gets to his feet, but no so quickly. He cringes from the previous Singapore cane and ladder shots. Shaki throws a quick side kick, catching Flare in the ribs. Flare clutches his ribs as Shaki backs up and throws a high kick, but Flare steps into it a bit and catches his leg. He dumps Shaki over his head with a T-bone suplex.] MASTERS: A nice counter there from Flare. He's in a position in this match in which he's not accustomed to. He's the biggest person in the match. His quickness is matched, if not exceeded by his opponents, so he may have a different strategy tonight. [Flare looks across the ring at Megaera, who is slowly trying to regain her vertical base. As she pushes herself up to her hands and knees, Flare runs over and rolls her up in a Mahistrol Cradle for a pin.] ONE.... TWO..... KICK OUT! MASTERS: Dan Bash's hand ALMOST hit for a third time there and we ALMOST had a new Television champion! CROWLEY: Almost nothin', that didn't even look close. [Megaera looks furious that Flare is even in the ring as both athletes get to their feet. She throws a high kick at Flare, but he catches her leg. He attempts to dump her over with a T-Bone suplex as well, but finds himself too close to the ropes. As he falls backwards onto the mat from the suplex, Megaera's legs bounce off of the top rope, causing her to bounce back and land on top of Flare in a springboard moonsault! Quickly gathering her senses, she hooks a shocked Flare's leg.] MASTERS: What ring prescence from Megaera! I've never seen anything like that! CROWLEY: I'll admit, that was pretty bad ass, but I highly doubt she did it on purpose. Leave it to a woman to turn a seemingly good situation into a dangerous one for a man. ONE.... [Shaki has planted two firm boots right into the face of Megaera to break up the count.] CROWLEY: I'd love to do that to a couple of my ex wives. MACE: You would actually hit a woman? CROWLEY: No..... but I'd kick her damn teeth in. MACE: That's very pooey! Men shouldn't hit women! Danny would never hit me! CROWLEY: For those of you at home who can't see me, I'd just like you to know that I'm rolling my eyes at that comment. Megaera knew what she was getting into when she showed interest in National Pro Wrestling. If she didn't wanna get hit, she should've gotten a job as a secretary or something. MASTERS: Ladies and gentelmen, the views expressed by Ken Crowley do not necessarily reflect the views of National Pro Wrestling or any of its sponsors..... CROWLEY: Shut the hell up, Masters. You know I'm right. And that's the problem with NPW anyway. My ideas SHOULD be law around here. MASTERS: You're very charming, Crowbar, but we DO have a match going on right here for the Television title. [Indeed we do. Shaki has rolled Megaera off of Flare and picked him up by the hair. Shirakawa throws a series of punches and kicks into Flare's chest, knocking him back into a corner. Shirakawa runs to the opposite corner and rounds off into multiple back hand springs all the way across the ring towards Flare, catching him in the jaw with a back elbow as he reaches him. A dazed Flare stumbles out of the corner a bit before falling on his back on the mat.] MASTERS: Great athleticism on the part of Shirakawa. He's really exciting the crowd right here in his home land. CROWLEY: It looked cool, but I don't know how effective it really was. I understand they love those Shangri-La Acrobats around these parts, but this is an ass kicking contest, not a circus. MACE: I love the circus! I haven't been in so long, though. Will you take me to one soon, Uncle Kenny? CROWLEY: No. Besides, you've got enough of a clown in Danny Vicious. Why do you need to see any more? MACE: Because THOSE clowns are FUNNY! [Megaera is on her feet now and she charges at Shaki, who meets her with a dropkick square on the jaw. Shaki whips Megaera into the same corner that Flare now lays slightly in front of. She barely misses tripping over him as she heads into the turnbuckles. Shirakawa goes to the well once again and heads to the opposite corner. He rounds off into multiple back hand springs towards Megaera, also barely missing Flare on his way. However, as he springs back to throw the elbow, Megaera kicks her feet up and hit him square in the back of the head. Shirakawa falls out of the air and lands head first into Flare's crotch on the mat.] CROWLEY: Ohhhh! Right in the fire balls! MASTERS: A nice heads up maneuver from Megaera there, basically stunning two birds with one kick to the back of the head there. MACE: Owwie! That looked painful! Poor Flare! I hope he can still have little flamer babies after that one! CROWLEY: Flamer babies, huh? Only in Japan.

[He is caught from behind with a Singapore cane shot! Megera, in her normal latex and wearing the Television title, has not waited for the announcement of her arrival as she continues the assault on Flare. She picks up the fallen ladder, hoists it over her head, and throws it down HARD over Flare's back.]
