Posted by Northern Pro Wrestling on 11/7/2002, 1:20 am As Bash turns upon Killingbeck to give him hell, Chris Youngblood comes flying around the corner and, stepping up off the ring steps, comes flying in with a high knee. Killingbeck sees the move coming and tries to screen himself with Bash - the end result of which sees both TJ and the referee catching the blow and being driven back into the ringside barrier. MASTERS: Good Gawd! Chris Youngblood just wiped out TJ Killingbeck and Dan Bash ... and here comes Calvin Astroth!! [WHAMMM!!!!] From behind, Astroth nails Youngblood with Timmy's pipe, Pepe, busting him open at the back of his head, and causing him to crumple into a heap. In the ring, Turner has risen to his feet and is ignoring the scuffles going on outside. Instead, he's intensely focused on the match, and is pulling the weary Fantastico to his feet. Grabbing a wrist, Turner pushes Timmy back into the ropes ... and pulls him out with an Irish whip - REVERSED by Fantastico, who summons enough energy to stop in his tracks and pull Turner towards him ... bringing Turner's wrist up across his chest ... and dropping him with a hangman's neckbreaker!! CROWLEY: Fantastico going back to the neck ... and here comes Calvin Astroth up on the apron! Astroth's calling to Fantastico, and brandishing Pepe! Fantastico, seeing Astroth up on the opposite side of the ring pulls the tormented Turner to his feet ... and whips him towards Astroth, who swings mightly!! [SLAMMM!!] MASTERS: Jimy Holiday! Jimy Holiday just yanked Astroth's feet out from under him, and pulled him off the apron! Calvin dropped Pepe without connecting! Turner hits the ropes and comes back ... boot to the midsection by Fantastico! Turner's doubled over, and Fantastico hooks him up! Here comes the FantasticoPlex!! Fantastico somehow finds the strength to pull Turner up ... but Turner's kicking, trying to get out of the champion's finisher ... ... and does!! Turner floats over the back, and when Timmy turns, he hits him with ... MASTERS: THE ANSWER!!! Turner just planted Fantastico with The Answer!! Here's the cover! CROWLEY: No ref! Dan Bash is still out on the outsi-HERE COMES FRED BILLINGTON!! With Bash down on the outside, NPW's second-most-senior referee has taken it upon himself to come hurtling out of the backstage area, and to the delight of the crowd is charging down the entrance ramp. Turner's draped over Fantastico, slapping the mat in frustration until Billington slides under the bottom rope, and makes the count: ONE!! ... TWO!! ... THREENOOO!!!!! MASTERS: INCREDIBLE!! FANTASTICO JUST KICKED OUT!!! I DON'T THINK ANYONE HAS EVER KICKED OUT OF 'THE ANSWER'!! CROWLEY: Turner had the champ down for at least a ten count, but by the time Billington made it out to the ring, Fantastico had had just enough time to recover enough to escape! It's Turner who's first to his feet. Sweat pouring down his brow, he backs into a corner and hoists himself into a position where he's sitting on the top turnbuckle, feet on the second rope. Grimacing, he motions Fantastico up. The CAL champ may not know what's going on, though. He struggles up to a knee, but has his back to Turner, who's risen to a standing position ... and is now stepping up to the top rope! Turner raises his arms to steady himself as Fantastico finally stumbles up to his feet ... and as he spins around, Turner comes flying off the top rope with a cross-body block ... ... and is met in mid-air with a dropkick out of nowhere from the champ!! Both men flop to the mat ... and it's Fantastico now, with the presence of mind to drape an arm over the prone form of Turner! Billington's down with the count! ONE!! ... MASTERS: This can't be it! ... TWO!! ... CROWLEY: Champ's gonna do it ... ... THRE-NO! Turner shoots up a shoulder!! Now it's a somewhat-rejuvenated Fantastico who grasps his hair in frustration, thinking he had the match won. Turner rolls away, towards the corner, away from Fantastico. Now it's the champ with the advantage ... and he pulls himself to his feet, using the ring ropes. Half-walking, half-stumbling over to his opponent, Timmy pulls Turner up to his feet, although the challenger remains mostly doubled-over. Sensing victory, Timmy locks in a front face-lock ... and reaches down to hook a leg! Exerting every last ounce of energy ... he lifts Turner high overhead ... MASTERS: FantasticoBuster coming up! This should do it! CROWLEY: What ... what's Turner got in his hand? [CLANG!!!] Crowbar's question is answered in a flash of steel and a resounding smack, as the inverted Turner lashes out with Pepe and drills Timmy in the skull with his own steel pipe!! Fantastico crumples to the mat, and Turner falls on top of him! Billington drops down! ONE!! ... MASTERS: Turner must have grabbed Pepe from where Calvin Astroth dropped it on the mat! .... TWO!!!! ... CROWLEY: Can he get him?? ... ... ... THREEEEEEE!!!!!!! Fred Billington rolls over and signals for the bell as the capacity crowd explodes and nearly blows the roof off of the Hummingbird Center. WINNER - Elated, 'Big' Chris Youngblood and Jimy Holiday - the former holding the back of his head, the latter with the CAL World Heavyweight title belt in hand - slide into the ring and mob the exhausted Turner. Youngblood hoists his employer to his feet, slapping him mightily on the back (perhaps a bit TOO mightily, given what Turner's just been through), while Holiday presses the strap into Turner's hands. As Astroth and Killingbeck pull the semi-conscious form of Fantastico out of the ring, Turner gazes into the gold plating of the belt ... before lifting it weakly overhead, to the massive cheers of the audience. MASTERS: HOLY MACKINAW!!! We've got a new World Champion! The impressive reign of Timmy Fantastico is OVER ... and the reign of Think Tank Turner is off to an auspicious start! What a match! What a battle! CROWLEY: Turner gutted this one out, Bob. He won this by the sheer force of his own will ... but this is a match that neither competitor will soon forget. 'Toccata and Fugue in D Minor' kicks in again over the sound system, as the air is soon flooded with red, blue and gold bits of tickertape floating down from the ceiling. Holiday gently takes the belt from Turner's hands and wraps it around his waist ... before he and Youngblood guide a reluctant Turner to the middle of the ring, and each raise one of the champ's arms, circling around in the middle of the ring to celebrate the hard-earned victory. MASTERS : NEW WORLD CHAMPION! WHAT A NIGHT! THE REIGN OF FANTASTICO IS AT AN END! FANS, WE'RE OUT OF TIME - AS THE NEW NPW OWNER IS THE NEW CAL WORLD CHAMPION! FOR KEN CROWLEY AND ARIEL MACE, THIS IS BOB MASTERS SAYING SO LONG!... AND GOOOOOOOOOOD GAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWD!!!! [Fade to black.] [Copyright, Ozymandias Enterprises, 2002. All Rights Reserved.]

But it's only the crowd that makes the three count, however, as Dan Bash was unceremoniously yanked from the ring by his ankles at about two-and-a-half by TJ Killingbeck!
