And on a night filled with an incredible series of battles, we can promise you fans at home a match-up which should prove to be a memorable one, between NPW's Untouchables, and the CAL-wide team of Apollo Carrington and Lawrence Chung!" CROWLEY: "You're damn tootin' Bobbo! Not only do these guys hate each other, but each team knows that this match will most likely present them with their toughest competition of the night. That's why I'm predicting that whoever gets the nod here sails on to take the whole damn kit n' kaboodle baby!" ARIEL: "All I know is that there's no one that I can cheer for up there - so I'll have to decide who I hate the least, and cheer for them. Skankity makes all the difference though! So I guess I'll actually be cheering for Team UT! Errr... YAAAAAAY?" CROWLEY: "Uhn-huhn. I'm sure they'll be glad to hear that." [The crowd doesn't seem to have any problems in declaring their allegiances however, if the reaction to the Larger than Life is any indication.] [The arena goes pitch black. After a few moments, the Northerntron comes to life as a "Coalition of Affiliated Leagues" logo appears on the screen. Suddenly, a word blasts through the top of the logo. It's followed by a word that blasts through the middle of the logo, and a ## I may run and hide [The "LARGER THAN LIFE" fades from the screen, and is replaced by scenes of Damien Newcastle and Diego Campos battling members of the Chosen Few ## All you people can't you see, can't you see [The scene fades into scenes of Apollo Carrington running a muck in NPW.] ## Looking at the crowd [The scene fades into scenes of Lawrence Cheung dominating PSW.] ## All you people can't you see, can't you see [The scene fades as it's replaced by the menacing forms of Damien Newcastle and Diego Campos. The word, "LARGER" flashes across the screen.] ## Every time we're down ## [Apollo Carrington flashing his "million dollar smile", appears and is joined by the word, "THAN".] ## You can make it right ## [As that scene fades, the confident look form of Lawrence Cheung appears, and the word, "LIFE" flashes across the screen.] ## And that makes you larger than life! ## [That triggers several silver fireworks going off in front of the backstage entrance. When the fireworks cease and the smoke clears, we see Apollo Carringon, and Lawrence Cheung standing shoulder to shoulder. Carrington is wearing his lavish gold pre-match robe, and his NPW Northern Heritage Title is slung over his shoulder. Cheung, as usual, is wearing camouflage pants, and he's carting his PSW Championship Title ## All of your time spent keeps us alive ## [The fans erupt into a frenzy of boos that rock the arena.] ## All you people can't you see, can't you see [The two confidently make their way to the ring as security struggles to keep back the rabid fans.] ## Yeah, every time we're down ARIEL MACE: Now making their way to the ring, representing Larger Than Life, weighing in collectively at 450-pounds, AAAPOOLLLLLOOOO ## All you people can't you see, can't you see [The song fades out Carrington and Cheung enter the ring.] MASTERS: "Holy Mackinaw! What a reaction from this Ottawa crowd!" CROWLEY: "You got that right Bobbo! Campos and Newcastle ain't made Larger Than Life a crowd favorite, and Cheung and Carrington seems to be paying for it." [The two men give absolutely no indication that the crowd, who's currently baying for their blood, is having any effect on them whatsover. Leisurely stretching in a corner, they discuss last minute strategy. The sudden roar of the crowd turns their attention up to the stage.] ARIEL [once again on the mic, as the house lights go down] : AND THEIR OPPONENTS!
