Ok thanks a lot! What would the result be when the speed wire (I suppose this is the same as the GAL wire) wouldn't be connected? Other GPS systems like TOMTOM do not require one. Is this for accuracy or when the signal would drop (like in tunnels?) I looked in becker manuals but they don't give much details over the principles.
