I'm confused

The station frequency shows on the bottom line of the nav screen that shows the memory presets. The frequency information also shows in the screen in the center of the gauge cluster. So PCM 2.1 is clearly getting the frequency information and is able to discern it from the rest of the RDS signal. Isn't there some way to get the radio presets to show that frequency information instead of defaulting into meaningless letters and numbers?
