Corner Creek Reserve Bourbon Whiskey. This one was a freebee, but I'm still trying to be objective here. Tried this one tonight for the first time.
Truly nice gold in color, actually more like tea and 88 proof. Aromas of vanilla, pineapple and oranges. Full-bodied, but because it aged for 8 years it is not harsh at all. Flavors of nuts and some tropical fruits, with nice touch of charcoal and smoke. I wonder where the smoke comes from since I don't think it has seen any during the preparation process. At about $25-28 a very nice purchase. I wish it would retail in Maryland.
