I had this one on the shelf for several months, but never tried it until tonight. Talking about a Scotch Whisky made in the good ol' USA.
Nice dark straw color. Well rounded and delightfully peated. Aromas of apricots, pears and heather and a
touch of smoke with hints of seaweed and iodine. Nice finish that let's you know it's really a Scotch.
Interestingly, it is aged only three years, which is a very short time for any whisky, but it's hardly noticeable in the taste. Although it could use some more aging.
