$2500 is a fair price (consider what the distillery charges) which can still be found elsewhere. It's a beautiful bottle and a hand-crafted box, turned from a single piece of the very finest cherry wood. We've already talked about my opinion on malts with beautiful presentation boxes. -smile- Wish I could afford one of these 1948s! My guess is the well favored 1950 is a bargain! Though it's only a 31 year old, the casks are similar.
