Incorrect Storage

I would agree with you that the bottle was incorrectly stored causing it to leak. At first I though of excessive heat, but that would attempt to push the cork out of the bottle as well. So as long as the cork is completely inside the bottle I would say incorrect storage. I don’t think the contents would oxidize because only the liquid on the outside is truly exposed to air. In any case, I hope the stuff is OK. Kurt
