We started our 3,200 foot store with about $60 -$70M in inventory. We found inventory management to be the biggest hurdle in the first year, as you have no idea how to figure seasonality or growth into sales projections. You're either going to stock-out a lot, or you're going to be carrying excessive inventory. In fact, you're going to do both.
