Sorry I can't help you with the Grand Old Parr because shipping this stuff from Maryland (USA) is a federal offence for us. Each state handles it differently.
As far as storing your collection I would think you are doing the right thing. All liquor containing alcohol like darkness, even beer. Make sure it does not get too warm and avoid extreme temperature changes. And, most of all make sure not to store your bottles on their side, always standing, and they should last a life time.
