Posted by Kurt M. on 9/9/2004, 10:24 pm I have not seen any Lous XII "Age Inconnu) in any recent auction and you certainly can't get them in a retail store. THe same is true with the Grande Champagne, althought they do come up in auctions from time to time. Putting a value on these things is not easy and depends on the current market demand. I have no idea what that might be, but would think anywhere between US$700-1500. Asking for above 1500 is pushing it over the limits, I think. The last one I seen in an auction 6 or so years ago went for 800,-. If you are interested in selling one or both, I recommend to put them up on E-bay with a minimum price of $1400 and see where it goes from there. Do not sell both in one auction, but list them seperately. Hope this helps.
Remy Martin offerd several types of "Age Inconnu" (age unknown}. There was the Louis XIII and the Grande Champagne. Both were ancestors of their respective blends.
