Posted by Dave We chatted on the forum here a few months ago. I've now opened my new store in Easton on the Shore. We've done some comparison shopping, and I think we're still confused about profit margins on various products. From what we could see, it looked like our competitors were shooting for about 35% on fine wines and about 23% on beer. On spirits, we think we're seeing half-gallons at about a 22% margin and fifths about 28%. I still have customers coming in and saying that we're too high on some products. I'm sure we're too low on others. We're very sensitive to ensuring that we're competitive, but we also don't want to give away product. Do you have any guidance for margins?
