Thanks Kurt
Whats a good storage recommendation?
Unfortunately back in my college days I drank to much J.W. and other whiskies that the pure smell gets me sick to my stomach. I know that might sound bizarre. But I do love Rum and vodka. I will hold on to them like my grandfater did and give them to my son when he is old enough. In reguards to the tax stamps I was tring to date how old these bootle are. Some of the champagne bottles and wine bottles are easy because they have dates from 1926,1928, 1950's 1970's but it's hard to find out for example when JW switched from cork to screw tops or to date the bottles from when the wisconsin liquor tax was .40 cents or .25 cents.
If store the wine and champagne bottles on there sides they might leak should I reseal them by putting wax on the top or how do I go about doing that.
Thanks for all your help.
Robert
