I think better advice would be to always see what others have to say about anyone you want to hire, regardless of their ethnicity. There are Asians who will also take advantage of other Asians, and the only defense against that is to be informed. Good luck and welcome to Bayside, NewToTheBlock!

Olivia, I think that kind of response is exactly what NewOnTheBlock was alluding to. I have not been ripped off majorly yet, but it's true that Bayside has been less than welcome to many new arrivals.
