I have some involvement with a couple of voluntary groups. One of them (called the Joshua Project) provides work experience and training opportunities for ex-offenders. They do building work mainly (re-pointing, painting, etc.) and have been working at The Priory Church doing lime mortar re-pointing. We now need to find them some indoor work that they can do during the winter - lime mortar takes several days to set so can't be used during frosty or very wet weather.
The host would need to pay for materials and any contribution towards other costs would be extremely welcome. The quality of work is not as good as that of a professional builder but better than average DIY.
Happy to provide more details if anyone is interested.
Regards
