YOUNG PEOPLE of the YEAR
AWARD
Are you a YOUNG PERSON who gives to others?
Or do you know young people who help others?
Everywhere nowadays young people are being condemned.
It’s almost as if every one of them is a ‘bingedrinking, drug-taking, violent hoody’.
Yet the truth is most young people
are good.
Some are amazing and don’t get the respect they deserve!
Young People of the Year or ‘YOPEY’ – Reveals,
Recognises and Rewards Young Unsung Heroes and sets them up as Positive Role Models.
Young People of the Year is a young people will be trained by a professional reporter in the skills of interviewing and reporting stories for
the media.
They will then have the opportunity to go out and interview other young people who have been
nominated for an award.
Can you please ask young people in your youth projects/centre’s if they would like to be part of this unique opportunity and forward any names
