As part of the Next Stage Review (Darzi) there is a "Innovation Fund" available. It is expected that a number of medium and small amounts will be given to staff, patient groups and voluntary sector groups who are able to deliver an innovative project. The decision about who gets the money will be made by a panel of mainly "lay" people.
I would be grateful if you would distribute the attached paper, which outlines the requirements of the "Innovation Fund" and the Application Form, as widely as possible within your organisation, including any newsletters, etc.

The form will also be put on the PCT's website as soon as possible.
Applications will need to be received no later than the 31st August 2009 by either e-mail, online or hard copy.
