Pete, it's nothing personal it's just that as a tool for the club this board is perfect, it's easy to navigate open to all and it makes it easy for anyone no matter how casual a fan to get involved. People given any sort of reason to either take a back seat or say that they cannot be bothered will i find usually take it. Posters for example, asking people to print them off rather than hand out a few in programmes stops us seeing a load of posters up around the area. If those same posters omitted the entry charge and instead carried a Bash catchline we would see more people turn up after seeing one. The same with any messageboard, open like this would have to see more casual posters on it rather than one that requires time to register and a period of waiting to enable any account to become active must have a detrimental affect on the number of people using it and the last thing that we need to look like is a clique in my very humble opinion.
