Ronaldo is on his way to us, forget the Real Madrid thing that is just a red herring being put around by our secretary. Torres is also mulling over an offer from us at the moment and it's looking pretty likely that he'll be linking up with the Bash for the first league game - the only stumbling block at the minute is that he's insisting on a caravan with an inside toilet at Bashley Park rather than the tent and a spade that we are currently offering. We've offered Villa a cash plus player deal for Gareth Barry to replace Davo - once again the only stumbling block there is Mark Barratt who will have to come out of retirement to make the deal happen. Friendlies.....the biggie is the one with Celtic, Rangers were sniffing around us like a dog on heat but we were holding out for a big club and the green half of the frozen north certainly fulfil that criteria, apart from that it's been a pretty quiet pre-season really...............hows yours?
