It isn't designed to stop fans of other clubs posting - a bit of banter is good as far as I'm concerned and everyone is more than welcome to register when we get the forum set up that way. In fact that is one of the reasons I've left the forum without being registration only for so long is to encourage fans of other clubs to post without having to register. It is simply the case that I don't have the time to moderate the forum in its current format, with my full time job and my role at the football club. Making it registration only will also make it harder for people to post under various different names and stir up trouble, as has happened at times this season.
