It has been a good season, at the start of which most supporters would have been content with a top 10 finish. I agree that if we are to be serious about keeping momentum of the past 2 seasons, the squad needs more depth. 2006/07 season we had no real injuries, 2007/08 we had some serious casulaties through through the season, and still managed top 5. I think we need. 1)Additional striker to share the burden with Moss/Gillespie and keep them on their toes. 2)Strong (big) holding midfeild player which will allow Davis/Knowles/Smith/Keeler to express themselves fully 3)2 New Full backs with a bit of pace. (Gazzard lacks class & Chris Ferrett is running out of legs albeit would be a good guy to have around the squad) Keep what we have with the exception of Daven Town (show pony), & throw in Messrs Tarr & Parnell back to fitness.......that would be a 'sqaud' worthy of challenging again next season. Have a great summer, and well done to all at Bash for a good season.
