Trust you don't criticise your colleague's hard efforts quite as much though Phil. We all have our favourites. I personally would rather have a half-decent player giving 110% than a premadonna giving 70% in any team of mine. Teams need to go into the playoffs on a good run and with a fully fit squad of players - which unfortunately was not to be the case for Bash. I have total faith that Steve et al will be busy making any necessary changes during the close season. I'm for one have thoroughly enjoyed our inaugural season in the BGB premier and would rather look at the positives from the season. - We've finished far higher than we thought we would and have shown we are more than capable at competing at this level. - We've beaten Halseowen, Team Bath and Chipps in the course of the season - We've drawn with the champions - We've done this without Matt P for most of the season together with Gilly and Knowlsey for long stretches mid season. - We signed Danny Smith - ......and we've got a fantastic footing to go even further next year We've seen a booking for a head butt!! (sorry; just couldn't leave it) Pretty football doesn't always get results; as Sir Alex would vouch. Well done Steve, the lads and to all at Bash - thanks for raising the bar. Tread 'em in
