To bring together the creative soul of Louisiana that exists outside of the normal cultural boundries. The L.O.A. is an Online Network for artisans of various disiplines to showcase their work in an environment that fosters and encourages Louisiana's artistic anomalies. A place to let ones dark side shine and show the world that there is more to Louisiana than blue dogs and zydeco. If you're an artist, writer, musician, craftsman or other creative type and would like to be a part of this groundbreaking project, I encourage you to join us.
Our Goals
To provide on online community where artisans of various disciplines can network, exhibit and interact. Our plans include individual artist's/musician's galleries, a list of opportunities and venues that support our kind of lifestyle, an online forum, and eventually, the opportunity to form a unique cooperative that will exhibit and perform at various locales throughout Louisiana.
I've met so many talented Louisianians over the years that simply could not find their niche in what currently exists in our state. What does not exist. must be created. I've done it before in New Orleans. Some of you may even have visited our Gallery/Museum when we were located there. Yes, we have an "interesting" reputation!
