I don't know how much my comments will mean, but here it goes.
FALL:
Flowers- Has the potential to be a great play. It would possible bring in the 8th grade students from the middle school seeing as how that is one of the stories they read in the begining of the year. It also has a large cast, which could be a good or bad thing (the bigger the company, the more family members it brings in
)
Sweet Nothing: Great story line but like Spencer had commented will students be willing to learn a whole new language? But also like Mr. Guay had mentioned before doing this play could bring in great press for the school and the theater program. It also might draw in the deaf community too to watch it.
SPRING:
Birdie: It seems like a good story line. It has a lot of people so there will be more chances for students to get a large roll. Though while reading through the sypnosis, it did come off as a little bit cheesy.
The Wiz: It would be a very recognizable play which would draw on people of all ages. The story is very well known which is another plus, but would people think it would be too much like the movie, and not come see it? Also, according the the pros section of it, it seems to be a little bit offensive. Would that keep people from coming?
