exciting stuff.
well well well- for the fall play, i'd have to honestly say that many teenagers are not up to the challenge of learning what is essentially a new language in order to do a play. while this does create a new and exciting aspect of theatre and whatnot, i think it could deture newcomers from joining the company solely based on the fact that they would possibly need to master ASL.
other than that, it seems like a very moving story. i mean, it even became a hallmark movie for pete's sake (not quite sure if thats really a good sign or not though).
and as of now, i'm pretty neutral about flowers for algernon.
for the spring musical, all the good points for each are pretty much brought up under mr. guays short list comments, so i'm kinda spilt even between the two. i dont think we could make a bad coice, both would be great to do.
if we wanna break apart from the typical "high school" thing i think we would be better off choosing The Wiz to do so rather than Sweet Nothing. but not both, we are a "high school" after all. heh
