I lied during a project and said I had everything on a floppy. It wasn't late or anything, as schoolwork is one thing I am somewhat serious about. I had just told my partner this was my personal deadline.
My partner, understandably asked
"Where's the floppy?"
And I'm like
" Well, my computer has an issue and I saved it and so, well, then my floppy thing might've broke but I saved it. And now, the floppy has ... issues."
