Oh, bad news about the Assembly hardcover, but great news about your chances of regaining the rights to audio versions. I'll be first in line to purchase.

Dy's story would be great for the next series, because you'd be using your fabulous 19th-century "voice" on an almost completely original story (I say "almost" because surely, Georgiana will be a part of it?)

But I'm going go sideways a bit and suggest that you'd also do a bang-up job of telling Mr. Rochester's side of Jane Eyre. (Talk about a tale of passion and redemption!)

And if neither of those suits your fancy, there's one of Austen's books that I've always wanted to love but never could -- Northanger Abbey. I think you could really make something of Henry Tilney. He's such a cypher. You could make him real.

Whatever, I'll buy it. And definitely add me to the list of people who would love to read your progress online.

As far as book four of FD,G...I have no ideas at all. I think I've read so many continuations and sequels to P&P that I'm pretty sure all of my ideas have been done in one form or another. Sorry!

    Happy writing!
