    Miss Tina:

I thought you would like an accounting of the events at Austenesque Hall in your absence. For the most part, it has been quiet and very calming for our patients, ah our guests. As you are aware, Miss Bingley, Mr. and Mrs. Hurst, Mr. and Mrs. Bennet and their daughters, all have been away visiting Elizabeth at Pemberley. This gave us the opportunity to refurbish the rooms, which turned out delightful.

There has been only one incident, one small or rather large occurrence, and I am sure I will not have to have you wonder long what or more importantly who was behind what has become known as, "A shower for Osckar".

Last week I was performing the final check on all the rooms and with the utmost care, your office and parlor. My primary concern was the main study for I had received a note from our friend that the tea parties would be restarting soon and Her Grace would be the most important guest. You can imagine how I had double-checked every detail and thought we were nearing the end of our mission, when suddenly, there was water. Yes, I mean water, water everywhere, and water in the halls, water in the rooms, puddles and puddles. I could not imagine what had happened, so I ran down the hall checking each room. There seemed to be some sort of a pattern in that each bathtub had been overflowed, but beside the tub were ladders, buckets with holes pounded in the bottom, and pieces of wood extending from book shelves or assorted tall standing landings. I was so confused and all the employees were running in all directions attempting to determine the source of this outrage. Then, I looked down, and in one of the puddles I noticed something and there in the middle of this puddle was some PINK FUZZ.

I immediately scurried down the hall to 'you know whose' room and there she was, standing in her tub with the last drips of water coming from a bucket over her head.

Miss MD: Hello Mrs. Vanderleevan. "I have been working on this all day and I know Rebecca said we might have a shower for Miss Tina and baby Osckar, but I don't think it will work. I tooks a shower at Miss Laura's recently when I stayed with her and she made my beautiful pink fuzzy bathing suit to match my boots, and I have tried to make one here at AH, but nothing works. It takes too many trips with the buckets and we don't have enough ladders and you have to be careful or the bucket hits you in the head!! Besides, I checked Miss Bingley's tub, Mr. Hurst's tub because he is so big and even Mrs. Hurst's and the problem is none of them are big enough to fit all the people in the tub. I would also like to add that I don't think Miss Tina would like to be in the tub with all of those people and they might squish poor baby Osckar. So that is my report on my efforts, do you like my pretty bathing suit?"

Miss Tina, I simply smiled at the little one, told her that I loved her pretty suit and went back to my office and had tea and a piece of double chocolate-chocolate cake. I think it might be a consideration upon your return, we two work together on the little vixen's problem with taking everything literally!!!!

    With much sincerity,

    Mrs. Lillian VanderLeevan
