You can't participate in this hike unless you're fourteen. He will hike 50 miles (25 up, then 25 back.) He's been in training for this since last fall. I understand that this can be a life-changing experience for boys/men who participate. As I understand, there's no way for him to call us until he comes back into the camp, so we won't hear from him until the middle of next week. Very strange for us. *Sigh* They grow up too fast.
