Posted by Greg C Mechanically excellent BX, has been well looked after, serviced every 5,000 km. Auto gearbox performs faultlessly (It is the second one the car has had). Engine in rude health, 204,000km. No leaks to speak of and cam belts changed at 80,000 km intervals. Recent 200k service included intensive cleaning of all electrical connectors under the bonnet. 2. Auto Transmission - new transmission reconditioned by ZF fitted at 110k. Since then has had fluid change every 10k, fluid comes out clean, still performs as new. 3. Suspension perfect. No slack, rear swing arm bearings done, 500cc spheres all round. 4. 4 new tyres - Michelin XT1 175/65 14. 5. Rego to July 2004. 6. Interior good, slight discolouration of dash, CD player and all 6 speakers work. Airconditioning on R134a gas and works very well. 7. Log books kept since 2000 when I bought the car. Receipts for other work before 2000 like gearbox change also kept. Bad Points 1. Paint poor. Can be restored with paint cleaner but effect does not last 2. Dent in passengers side rear guard, does not effect driveability.
