I've found araucana roos to be very civilized when living together. I even often have multiple roos in a breeding pen. Won't work with our other breeds, but it works with the araucanas. Often the roos grow to live together as a family unit and if a trouble maker ends up in their pen, they will set to driving the trouble maker out by attacking in mass and relentlessly. Once a rooster pen is established, the easiest way to add more roos is to introduce several at night. Adding a single roos to a pen full of roos could become quite cruel.
