After the breeding season- I turn out many of my roosters bantam and larger fowl to free range. Each rooster finds their own space and place to roost. The bantams’ cockerels like to cause problems and pick on the large fowl cockerels. The large cockerels don’t develop as fast as the bantams so it funny to watch the big guys running from the little bantams.
I end up with many of the bantams in separate pens and the large are happy to be free.
