Posted by Jacob Johnston Now on my bantams, I've already got a bird with two large, even tufts, another with smaller, but still good, even tufts, several good single tufts. The only one old enough to tell on comb size has a very tight pea comb, although clean faced is perfectly rumpless and proportioned, although the legs may not quite be slate. It makes me glad that I decided to get the bantams as well. I almost passed to stick with standards.

Thanks. I've got a feeling that my bantam line is going to be much better than my standards. There are some things in the standards that I'm going to have to really work on improving (getting rid of white earlobes relatively common in the bunch, getting true willow legs, getting a tighter comb, and getting more tufts (only have the one pullet with any size to her tuft).
