I need 4 hens. Recently a fox got 4 of my Americuna hens leaving me with only 2. I am concerned that these two will not be able to keep themselves warm this winter in the coop. I have considered getting some chicks, but I worry that they will not be old enough when to cold weather sets in when December arrives (is this a valid concern?)
