The Araucana standards in the West-European countries is more or less the same for the most important racial traits: tufts, rumpless, willow legs (also in US and Canada) for the following countries:
Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Italy. Some of this countries tolerate a SMALL beard, but preference small wattles, not a full beard. The recognized colors and sometimes weight are different per country.
1. tufts, rumpless, willow legs, no beard (see the same above)
2. tufts, rumpless, willow legs, full beard
3. no tufts, rumpless, willow legs, full beard
This last variation is what you generally see on the German shows. (No lethal genes)
1. No tufts, tail, crest
2. Tufts, rumpless, beard?
This last variation is rare, but there are breeders for shows.
