It's time Araucana breeders stand up and fight mis-named breeds

We had our county fair this week and I was outraged when I saw what were clearly an easter-egger (not even a good respresentation of Ameraucana) marked as "Araucana" (with a ribbon on it). We need to start contacting fair judges and anyone who will listen, and plead our case. People don't dare confuse other breeds...you would never call a Leghorn a Barred Rock. Yet McMurray and other hatcheries continue to sell mutt chickens that lay colored eggs as Araucanas. Time to unite.
