Posted by Andy Duplay The other girls and rooster don't bother the baby at all. They are all very careful around him. It is a joy to watch the proud mama lead him around. When she eats, she is careful to drop food on the ground for him, and then tells him to eat it. It was a thrill watching her teach him to drink. My favorite, though, is the "homing: sound she makes. The constant "puck-puck-puck" is a sound I have never heard before. They are all together, and living happily. Again I will say it: I think that True Araucanas really are one of the most socialble, civil breeds around.

Well, I posted my question about how to handle the "natural born chick" question here and on one other board, and got myriad responses. I opted to leave them all together, and it is working out great!
