Anne, I'm not going to even try to give you a good answer. I think only a hatchery that is producing these rumpless birds could do that. I had a bantam cockeral fourteen years ago that came from a hatchery in Missouri. I remember seeing someone post a photo of a rumpless hen or two on this forum about four or five years ago that was also a hatchery bird but I don't remember which one. Three years ago at the Kentucky state fair I saw some chickens being shown as "bearded araucanas" that were rumpless although I have no idea of their origin. They sure looked like hatchery stock. I wasn't there long enough to find out what the judge thought of them .
