I am having a problem with anxiety. It has been almost 6 weeks since my surgery and am having severe anxiety. I feel hyper-sensitive to anything pertaining negative events. Sometimes my fear is so overwhelming that I have to take xanax to take the edge off of it. I just feel so scared. Imagine being in a scary situation...now, just feel that fear for no reason. I have talked to my plastic surgeon about this and he said he has never had anyone before with these kind of effects. I know it takes a while for the body to recover and accept that. I would like to know if anyone else has had this kind of after effect from their surgery. Thank you
