I had my brest reduction on June 13th. My left breast is completely healed, but my right breast took a bit longer. I had disolvable stitches. The right breast-at the top of the nipple area, started to droop down and open up. My doctor did not suggest restitching-it just recently healed over. I also had some gaping in the stitch area at the base of both of the nipple areas where the straight cut met with the nipple. Altogether, I was as worried as you are, but more healing time was all I needed. I also did things I probably shouldn't have right after surgery. I'm a single mother and I also wasn't very informed on what to expect and what exactly not to lift-just no heavy lifting.
