I had my BR on Dec. 10 and have done real good until Monday when I went back for my 4 week check up. My nipples are alive and look good (was a DDD or E) and I'm very pleased with his work. He said he had to take 2-1/2 lbs off each side. I did have some bruising. It was a massive reduction is what he called it. I'm not a very big person so I'm pleased that my boobs don't go into a room 5 minutes before I do. My question is I have had a reaction to the sutures. He took them out Monday but there is a gap opened up underneath the nipple. He took some scabbing off of it and told me to keep putting peroxide on it three times a day and bandage. He says it will heal over and I don't go back for 4 more weeks. Now that I've rattled on for so long....my question is....Has anyone ever had this happen and if so what was the outcome? He didn't seem concerned and said I was just a little slower in healing since I had the reaction. Of course my husband works out of state so I am probably doing things I shouldn't but I'm here by myself. Please answer if you know anything. He took me down to a C and I love the new look. Just how long can I expect to heal up completely?
