Hello. I had my BR alomost 4 Years ago. I also have fat necrosis in my right breast. I've had it since and did'nt know what it was. I just thought it was scar tissue. When I went for my yearly check up my doctor told me to get a mammo, so of course I was scared and explained many times that it had been there since and it had gone down in size. I asked many of doctor's if it could be fat necrosis, they all said no and that it had to come out. I lived in fear for about 2 months until I found a doctor who insisted on a biopsy. I can't remeber what it's called, but I had to lie on a table face down and they numbed my breast and took a sample. Thank God, it was Fat necrosis. I've been told if its not bothering you there's no reason to get it taken out. But if it's hurting you that bad, you should really have it taken out. Good luck.
